FUNERAL RESOURCES

The KFA is here for you, department members, and the families of department members. Loss of life of a department member is difficult. To go through that experience alone especially if that loss of life is in the Line of Duty is very hard.  To help you make those difficult decisions and present a funeral both the department and the family will be proud of the KFA will help as much or as little as your needs dictate.  Please take the time to look through the documents below and if you have not already done so find out the wishes of your department members in relation to their final arrangements.  It can save everyone a lot of struggle.  For any assistance or questions contact any of the Executive Board members or your Regional Association KFA Director.

ABOUT THIS SECTION OF THE WEB SITE

This section of the web site is to provide information to fire departments and to the general public in the event of the tragic loss of a fellow firefighter.  Our mission is to honor and remember America's fallen fire heroes and to provide resources to assist their survivors in rebuilding their lives.

This portion is dedicated to announce, honor and memorialize our members that have died.  You will find a section created to inform and educate the emergency community about pre-planning and preparing for line of duty deaths (LODD), non-LODD, and deaths of retired emergency service personnel, both volunteer and career.

We hope the information provided will assist you in memorializing those who have passed before us.
