Kentucky Office of Homeland Security is accepting
Grant Applications January 13th through February 17th
The Kentucky Office of Homeland Security (KOHS) is accepting applications for the FY 2017 State Homeland Security Grant Program January 13, 2017 through February 17, 2017.
The grants, funded by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, can be used by city and county governments, merged units of government , area development districts, and fire protection districts for first-responder equipment, communications, cybersecurity and critical infrastructure protection.
KOHS will post a PowerPoint at www.homelandsecurity.ky.gov from January 13th through February 17th to assist agencies in preparing applications for grants. The PowerPoint, “FY 2017 Homeland Security Grant Application Guidance and Instructions,” provides guidance and step-by-step information on how to complete an application online.
It is mandatory that the person who prepares the application and the project director from each agency review the PowerPoint presentation in its entirety. A certification form will be posted with the PowerPoint. This form must be signed by the agency’s representative who viewed the PowerPoint and returned to KOHS by fax 502-564-7764 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. The application deadline is February 17, 2017.
