At the KFFC meeting held at Ryans Steakhouse 4711 Dixie Highway Nov.21st Rev J.D. Brown was presented the trophy and honored as Kentucky Chaplain of the year 2006, by our president Dan Ennis and the membership.  Chaplain Brown was also honored at the National FFC Conference in St. Joseph Missouri in Oct. Chaplain Brown is a member of Jefferson Co. Swift Water Rescue Team, they were deployed to New Orleans during the flood to assist in search, rescue and recovery, Chaplain Brown and the Swift water Rescue team removed some 2000 people to safety.
