LONDON - Ernest Lee Clark Sr., 58, of Balsinger St.,died Wed, May 31, 2006. He was born Oct. 21, 1947, in Winchester, KY. He was a member of the London City Fire Dept., serving as Chief for 11 years. He is preceded in death by his father, Henry O. Clark and his sister, Mary Dell Clark. He is survived by his wife Lois Hunley Clark of London, his mother, Anna Louise Barlow Clark of Frankfort, one daughter, Cheri C. Philpot of London, two sons, Ernest L. Clark, II and Phillip Carpenter, both of Lexington, two brothers , Norris R. Clark (Jerlean) and Robert M. "Bobby" Clark (Deena) all of Lexington. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Sat, June 3, 2006, in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the A. R. Dyche Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home after 6 p.m., Fri with Masonic services at 7 p.m.
